Here are a few examples of how participants have raised funds in support of Lunch Money Day:

In addition to donating $7,000 worth of gift cards to be used as incentives for companies to run campaigns, Starbucks also donated a portion of the sales of their delicious Turkey Sandwiches and Orzo Salads on Lunch Money Day.

The Calphalon Culinary Center raised over $1,100 from their annual Lunch Money Day lunch. Guests were treated to a delicious Vegetarian Pasta lunch for a suggested minimum donation of $5. It was a great way to warm up on a cold wintry day!

ING DIRECT, in addition to making a large corporate donation, supplied nearly 30 volunteers to collect money in the Yonge/Bloor subway station.

The legal offices of Bell, Temple raised $2,120 during their 'Brown Bag Week', with events like an extra vacation day raffle and a draw for a donated $500 shopping spree at any Cadillac Fairview Mall.  "Barb Tobias has run the Bell, Temple campaign since its inception and again did an incredible job. Our success each year is due to the people who participate in the fundraising events," wrote Judith Tiefenbach, Director of Administration.

Atripco Delivery Service held a 'Beat the Blues' every Friday in February, and raised $380. For only $2 a day to participate, employees could dress for paradise in their Hawaiian shirts, sunhats, sunglasses and grass skirts, plus enjoy $2 tropical mocktails in the lunchroom.

More than 1,000 Sobeys customers made $2 Lunch Money Day donations at the checkout.
